Tuition and Fees

Fees are calculated on a per-course basis. The most current information on tuition fees is available from the University of Toronto Student Accounts website: www.fees.utoronto.ca (click on the appropriate session, then “Fee & Refund Schedules,” then “Woodsworth College – Certificate & Diploma Programs”).

IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM STUDENT ACCOUNTS: Student Accounts will no longer mail registration invoices to students.  Students will be reminded of their account balance on ACORN each time the login.

Domestic Students (Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents)

2016-17 Part-time student costs: The 2017-18 fee schedule will be available in July 2017 from the fees website at www.fees.utoronto.ca. For reference, the cost of taking one course (0.5 full course credit) during the 2015-2016 Fall/Winter Session was $1,063.98 ($622.00 course fee + $441.98 incidental fees). Each additional course in the same session cost $622.00.

2016-17 Full-time student costs: In 2015-16 the total cost of the program if completed in 8 months (September to May) was $6,254.86. This includes course fees of $4,976.00 (8x$622.00) + incidentals fees of $1,278.86. The 2016-17 fee schedule will be available in July 2016 on the fees website at www.fees.utoronto.ca.

Tuition fees do not include books, and are subject to change from year to year.

International Students

2016-17 Part-time student costs: The 2016-17 fee schedule will be available in July 2016 from the fees website at www.fees.utoronto.ca. For reference, the cost of taking one course (0.5 full course credit) during the 2015-2016 Fall/Winter Session $4,899.98 ($3,846.00 course fee + $1,053.98 incidental and UHIP fees). Each additional course in the same session cost $3,846.00.

2016-17 Full-time student costs: In 2015-16 the total cost of the program if completed in 8 months (September to May) was $32,658.86 ($30,768.00 course fees + $1,890.86 incidental and UHIP fees). The 2016-17 fee schedule will be available in July 2016 on the fees website at www.fees.utoronto.ca.

Definition of Statuses

Full-time status: Students registered in 8 courses (4.0 full credits) over the Fall and Winter sessions combined, are considered full-time.

Part-time status: Students registered in 7 courses or less (3.5 full credits or less) over the combined Fall and Winter sessions are considered part-time.

Breakdown of Fees

Compulsory fees for registration consist of academic, incidental and ancillary fees. The fees below are for the 2015-16 academic year, current fees will be reflected on your financial account screen on ROSI/ACORN. Fees are calculated on a per-course basis.

*The Full-time Incidental & Ancillary Fee was $1,278.86. If you were enrolled in 8 courses (4 full credits) over the 2016-15 fall/winter sessions, your academic fees would be $4,967.00 ($622.00 x 8) plus the full-time Incidental fees of $1,278.86 for a total of $6,254.86.
