Registration Information for New and Returning Students

  • Step 1: Choose your courses

Use the 2019-20 TESOL Calendar and this site to decide which courses you wish to take. Click the following link for more information: Choosing Your Courses

  • Step 2: Enrol in courses

Beginning July 10, enrol in courses using ACORN (the University’s student information service) – Click on the following link for more information: Enrolling in Courses Using ACORN.

  • Step 3: Pay your fees

To be registered for the Fall/Winter sessions you must both enrol in courses and pay your fees by the payment. IMPORTANT: Pay your fees on time! If you do not pay or defer your fees by August 28, you risk losing your courses at any time! Click on the following link for more information: Paying Your Fees

  • Step 4: T-Card and email

For new students, obtain your T-card and University of Toronto email address. Click on the following link for more information: Obtaining a T-Card and UTOR Email Address

  • Step 5: Go to class

If you intend to graduate in June 2020, you must add your request on ACORN. Please note the following important dates:

  • Mid-September 2019 (date tba) – first day to request June graduation on ACORN
  • January 31, 2020- last day to request June graduation on ACORN

After January 31, any requests must be forwarded to the TESOL Program Office at:  There is no guarantee that late requests can be accommodated and a late registration fee may be charged. Save
